Our Story

Building a trusted Georgia Pomsky breeder network

Georgia Pomskies started in Tony and Tracy Blackburn's home in McDonough, Georgia — and is growing into a curated place where families can find responsible Pomsky breeders with confidence.

Founded 2021McDonough, GAFounding Family

How it started

It began with two brothers — Duke and Winston — and a family that fell in love with the Pomsky. As we learned how few resources existed for families trying to find a responsible breeder, we set out to build something better: a small, trusted network that puts health, temperament, and the family experience first.

Where we’re going

Tony and Tracy are preparing for their first family-bred F2 litter within the next year. Alongside that, we’re carefully expanding into a directory of responsible Pomsky breeders across Georgia and the Southeast. Every breeder in the network is reviewed before joining and held to the same standards we hold ourselves to.

Why F2 Pomskies

F2 Pomskies — the breeding generation Duke and Winston represent — offer the most predictable size, the most stable temperament, and the best blend of Pomeranian charm with Husky athleticism. Most of our network's Pomskies range 18–25 lbs, thrive in active families, and adapt beautifully to the Georgia outdoor life.

Our Values

What We Stand For

The same values we apply to our own dogs are what we look for in every breeder we welcome into the network.

Health Testing

Every breeding parent in the network is Embark DNA tested and cleared of the major Pomsky-relevant genetic conditions. Results are shared openly.

Temperament First

Our breeders raise dogs in their homes, evaluate temperament before any breeding decision, and prioritize calm, family-friendly Pomskies.

Full Transparency

From health records to parent photos, families deserve complete information before choosing a Pomsky. We require that from every network breeder.

Lifetime Support

Network breeders stay connected with their families long after go-home day. Questions about training, nutrition, or health are a phone call away.

Our Standards

What it means to be in our network

Trust is the only product worth selling. Every breeder in Georgia Pomskies meets the same six standards before a single listing goes live.

DNA & health testing

Every breeding parent is Embark DNA tested. Health records are shared openly with families and partner breeders.

Temperament first

We breed for stable, friendly, social dogs that thrive with kids, other pets, and busy family life.

Family socialization

Puppies are raised in our homes — never kennels — with structured socialization from the first week.

Responsible placement

We match puppies to families based on lifestyle and energy fit. Approved homes only.

Breeder transparency

Every breeder in the network commits to honest answers, health records, and ongoing communication.

No puppy mill culture

No volume breeders, no parking-lot meetups. Just families raising small numbers of well-bred Pomskies.
