Winston

After a couple of months loving on Duke, our breeder friend contacted us and asked if we could foster Duke’s brother, Winston. The family that had originally adopted him had three dogs already and used them all as therapy dogs. Winston was trained by his new family and unfortunately, his new father got a job where he had to travel all of the time which made it very difficult on his new mother being left to raise four dogs. She asked the breeder for help who contacted us.

Tracy and I agreed to keep Winston for the next weekend to see how he would socialize with our other three dogs, Khan, Houdini, and Duke. Winston was an instant success with the other dogs and the rest is history!

Winston as a Puppy!

Winston was born on August 27, 2021 to parents Andy and Tanzi. He is smaller than Duke and weighs 14 lbs, is bi-eyed, and has a very calm and loving temperament. He is an F2 Pomsky as well. He has been Embark tested and is in excellent health. His mix is 71.4% Siberian Husky and 28.6% Pomeranian.

The Native Americans consider a blue Husky eye a ‘ghost eye.’ They put these huskies in a superior position. They believe that the blue eye is connected to incidents of Heaven, and the Husky can have a vision of Heaven. According to their belief, the other eye is to view things happening on the Earth.
